A Coptic Brief is about the history of the Coptic language. The aim of this project is to provide a clear understanding of who the Coptic people are and how they define Egypt. The book is divided into 2 sections, a theoretical study of essays and articles that talk about the history, political and economic aspects of the Coptic people. It also brings up the history during the transition from Egypt being a Coptic state using the Coptic language to Egypt being an Arabic-speaking country.
I used line drawing as my visual narrative in order to keep a connection between the manuscripts and the articles and the vocabulary section. I chose to have bright RGB color to let the project stand out and keep it different from the historical findings in Egypt.
